I'm not reaching Batman and superman ARE geek culture same as Dragonball characters are main stream. The only difference is the anime properties are not having movie franchises shtted out every few years.

Nah geek culture is when breddas start complaining about how the movie diverts from the comic books.

I seen the nolan movies I have all the arkham games and I've never read a comic in my life.

Fact - Not every nikka was watching anime growing up.
Fact - Every type of nikka watched anime though.

You got nikkas in here saying shyt like "You must be from the burbs cause no nikka was watching anime" which is a ridiculous assumption. Just as ridiculous as someone saying all of any group watched anime. Hell I know Asians that didnt watch them. I have lived in almost every part of this country and been in hoods or lived in hoods in all of them and not one place have I been where there wasnt some dude that watched anime.

I know this comment is directed at me - don't use quotation marks if it isn't what I posted - I NEVER said that. My issue is with dudes saying every black person they knew growing up watched this shyt. That's all. I don't doubt that there was some folk watching this shyt; yet I consider anime an eccentric taste when it relates to my kinfolk and any grouping of this being a norm seems to be a stretch.

New York - Harlem, Greenwich V - Knew nikkas watching anime.

These are all places Ive lived and Im still forgetting some. Im not gonna waste time going into specific neighborhoods and blocks for the sake of someone saying it was the burbs and not hoods but I can if need be.
