Why are so many young white people on meth and heroin these days?

Here's the thing you would think that white people would be much more wise about drugs after seeing what drugs have done to the black community. You know the whole thing with crack and all.

They think anything we do is a result of no personal responsibility, and culture, where as they’re the real victims of the system.

They would never see anything that happens to us, and apply it to themselves.

White people have always been the main drug users, we were just made the face of it with crack. But whites smoked hella crack too. Always heavy on the coke and prescription pills as well.

I read The New Jim Crow, and at the time the 3 prison industrial complex started, white people were doing more cocaine, and black people were doing more crack, and look which drug got the harsher sentence.

Tbh, call me a square or lame, whatever but I legit don't understand how people still pickup the habit of cigarettes these days, as a guy who's not mid thirties.

I’m square too, and not only were the bad health explanations enough for me to never smoke, but the smell of cigarettes is disgusting. I don’t even like riding in cars with people who smoke. I don’t want my clothes to smell like that. And if someone gets in my car and asks if I mind if they smoke, I say yes I do mind. And I won’t date women who smoke either, and how the hell are people economically stressed, yet still buying cigarettes?

My friends from the burbs would do that then throw in some acid, mushrooms, oxy, or whatever else they could get their hands on. Simply because they had the money for it and they had nothing better to do with their day.

Rich people do more drugs than poor people.

I’ve seen this too, but upper middle class kids of other races aren’t doing hard drugs like that. At most, they’re smoking weed, and drinking.

Part of is it white people are allowed (weird way to put it) to get further along in their drug usage because they're not constantly living in a police-state like black folks.

I’m convinced crime statistics would be drastically different if white people were monitored by the police more.

I don't blame my nikkas just getting the money for what little bank we get in this world because the system makes it that it almost kind of like be that way but it ain't though because it's like stereotyping us all into bad positions vernable in life so I tell most nikkas stay out of the drugs man that's when shyt is a little more peaceful around here because if nobody using drugs like that then the dealers move out because there be no business so everybody can hang out in the open on some normal shyt.
But in order for that to happen means fixing alot of other injustices on a bigger scale in different segments that can create that easy going outcome as a modern reality.

It's lot of work boys but don't worry I don't have a clue on what to do but still somehow I got this!

So I've been working at hotels on and off for over a decade now. But this is the first time that I've held a front desk job at a hotel in about roughly 5 years. I had a lot of front desk Hotel work back in Florida but that's another story.

Anyway, the amount of white people getting high on heroin and methamphetamines is just insane these days. I've had coworkers at one hotel I work at fine guess passed out 2 in the morning on the asphalt in the parking lot.

Once they found a lady dead in her car in the hotel parking lot . I have seen guess in the lobby with blood dripping the calf muscles.

Housekeepers are constantly finding needles in the beds when they go to change the sheets.

What's making all these white kids become straight up dope addicts? I mean white people a way better off in black folks are anywhere in America or the world for that matter. So what's making now so depressed they just want to drop out of society and get high?

The ghosts of all the indigenous people and slaves are too much for them

You're just probably noticing it now. There were and still are a lot of drug addicts out here sadly. Some people hide it very well. Some dont. I've done seen enough of the harms of that shyt throughout my life that I applaud anybody who has never tried drugs and alcohol before even weed though weed is harmless. It's just sad seeing how that shyt ruins families especially the kids if their parents or one of their parents are addicts. That is horrible.

Crazy because growing up we looked at addicts as fiends, junkies and fukk ups instead of someones son, daughter, mother, or father that made a mistake. You just gotta fukk up once and that's a lifetime of trying to stay clean. Smoke some weed laced with crack, heroin or meth or even absorb that shyt in your hands from sweat or whatever the case and you're hooked. Just stay away from drugs.

I'm a licensed electrician. The job I'm on now there are 50 guys on site, 10 are black. It's like that on a lot of jobs. My best friend is an HVAC tech. My wife is a Medical Laboratory Scientist, her sister is a nurse, my friends sister is a nurse, my mama and my aunt are in IT. All of them black. Stop selling black people short because you know a bunch of bummy ass people bruh.

You live in a huge Metropolitan City. I essentially live in the sticks GA.
Before then I lived in the sticks in Florida. It's different in these places. Almost like a caste system out there.
