Nah it's a difference with them. They literally got famous for Kim fukking on camera. They have no talent. You can't compare that to an all world athlete, entertainer, lawyer, etc who has practiced their craft for YEARS.

I think there might be a element of jealousy though too. like " if i hadn't had that knee injury in high school, that could have been me". And it's much more publicized what LMA makes than say Rihanna makes.

Nah its no different. I don't care how you get your money people always finding a way to hate under some other reason. They are the perfect example. Who cares if they got on by a sex tape? I don't shyt happens and all the cats that's mad at her for that. Its the same thing because people think they can do what she did and or its a child game when its an athlete. Yeah they would but could you keep the attention and get famous though? Probably not so it has to be some talent to keep her and her family relevant. That's talent enough no matter what you, me, or anybody says say she made millions off of it and its a lot of other chicks with the same qualifications not in her spot. That's her talent getting people to talk about her for whatever reason which makes her polarizing and relevant. Its not an entertainment talent but something that she's made work for her and her fam however you choose to look at it

Pro athletes do have a propensity for saying stupid shyt in regards to their salaries.... like Spreewell saying he has kids to feed and can't live off such a low amount of millions per year.... or Josh Smith saying that it'll be tough living off his current salary.
Same folks who complain about how much top athletes get paid, cry when they have to watch lesser players who make lesser money do the same thing...cause they feel they should be getting their moneys worth

talent agencies likes CAA, are designed to make people into stars..... that's what they're paid to do. place them in commercials, TV shows, movies, get them endorsements etc.
and plenty of idiots are getting millions, it just so happens that majority of those idiots are good at something that most people on earth arent.

Help me understand this. Do you have an issue with models getting paid for just being good looking and knowing how to pose/walk? She's basically famous for her sexuality and her body. Do you watch porn? The porn stars at the top of their business make bread. Are we going to fault them for that as well (male and female)? They make that bread from nikkas buying subscriptions to sites to see them do what Kim Kardashian did. When it comes to making money, it's about what your brand is able to demand. If you have no problem with athletes getting paid because they are able to demand a certain price, there should be no issue with anyone else that's making money legally because they are able to demand a certain price.
But as to the thread, I'll restate something I've always believed: the average fan is merely a fan of their city/team. They don't like athletes. They feel a sense of entitlement/ownership over these players. They're there to make their team win; how dare they demand such exorbitant amounts of money to stay on my team to make my team win? Shut your mouth and throw/catch/throw the ball. You dare to leave in free agency? fukk you and the time you spent trying to make my team win, hold these boos and childish heckling next time you come through. I work a menial 9-5 and will be damned if I'm cool with the jock from high school making millions while I rot in middle management. Granted, my addiction to watching and paying for tickets/merch helps line your pockets, I will resent you in the furthest depths of my mind until the media reports something that justifies my deep seeded hatred of you.
