As a Tariq fan, me and my wife talked about this. Hell, I talked about this with my female friends before. Tariq wasn't the guy he is now till T.J. was born. He basically was what Tommy was with more savvy and game. But he wasn't a fan of BW. At least fully BW and admitted his quarrels with them and said it was due to the system whites put us in that we can't communicate with each other.
