That's the point.
NE is never the underdog.
Carolina is unbeaten facing a bad Cowboys team. Why are they not favored?
Do you not understand that the same logic about balancing the bets applies to all teams, yet certain teams are always listed as favorites?
You're either dumb or being willfully ignorant here.
Carolina is playing better football at the moment than Green Bay is.
But if Dallas plays at GB right now, GB is favorites. But since Dallas is playing at home (which gets them 3 points or so. So on a neutral field this line is actually Carolina -2) and against a team the public HISTORICALLY never bets on, while Dallas is THE team the public HISTORICALLY bets on, the line represents such.
This line reflects the fact that the people who spend money on games to bet and make them interesting have been throwing tons of money on Dallas for YEARS. Decades.
They only been betting Carolina for this season.
That's why the line is Dallas -1.
That's the problem with comparing Carolina to Dallas, GB, Pitt, and NE. Sports betting wise, Carolina is a one-hit wonder this year compared to the last 15+ years of heavy money being thrown upon the aforementioned teams.
