I've taken apart numerous ps4 controllers. shyts are simple. Might put a blackberry battery in my new one so I can get all day battery life

::dwillhuh: word, you could actually swap out the batteries???

On my other controller the touch pad clicks when pressed like some child spilled juice on my buttons and they sticky. Cheap ass shyt and I hate it for shooters.
Within the first month of getting my PS4, both of my controllers R2 buttons get stuck down. Bout 6 months ago one of the buttons straight fell off. The other is still there. The rubber on the thumb sticks on both are work to shyt, and I dont even fukk with my PS4 that much. Disappointing build quality, no doubt.

You just described xbox buttons to a tee. WOAT buttons on controllers go to xbox, easily.

I've never really had problems with controllers in the past, I take care of them. But the analog sticks on the PS4 started pealing off after about a month or so.

I'm still using the controllers from 2013, only issue was the sticks, slapped covers on them, no problems since then

Yeah you just cut the lead off the regular one (or a broke ps3 controller) and solder it on to the battery, BAM 50% more battery life.
