Why are the Thunder so bad in these late game situations?

Yeah I feel like it's coaching too. Like they don't practice these situations. It's why these mistakes are made like fouls, bad shots, turnovers, timeout situations.
there's really no excuse for not having timeouts when up 15+ for like 90 of the game though. That's up to coaching.

Westbrook be making some boneheaded mistakes when it comes down to the wire. Like pulling up for a three only to brick. Like that warriors game.:mjlol:

If the ball ain't in durant`s hands during those times then it's all bad.:yeshrug:

KD and Russ don't trust their teammates

Coaching isn't the issue, OKC's offense looks exactly like how it did when Brooks coached. Seems like the 2 of them revert to old habits when the game is on the line

I thought things would change since they hired Donavan but it's the same 'roll the ball out and let them play' offense.

Who do they have to trust though? Waiters? :heh:

Yeah I guess Donovan gets a lil pass this year since he hasn't really put his stamp on the team. But yeah it's just iso.

Ibaka isn't helping at all either. I have no idea what has happened to him. He either has hit his ceiling in maximizing his skill 3 years ago or he's hiding some injury nobody knows about. He was an elite defender with a good offensive game but now he's regressed so much :francis:

Westbrook is a terrible pg
I wouldn't say that. It's just he has poor shot IQ in late game situations. If you look at the highlights of some of OKC's recent playoff games, you'll see him taking shots at the end of close games that he has no business taking. Against the Clippers (got bailed out on a foul), Grizzlies (got bailed out by a Perkins put-back)-I've seen it time and again. This gif sums it up.
