I dont know what these dudes on so no clicks. As far as the topic goes, Desi and Wayne are naturally funny. Wayne didnt move me in his special at all. Havent seen Desi's stand up. I do think his sketches are better though.
Why are there less naturally funny comedians?

Kevin was at his best when he appeared on Foxxhole radio. And went up against Jamie and Johnny Mack, he had to spit off the dome live.
He more than held his own.
His stand up though is not laugh out loud funny. Never has been for me

Naturally comedic? Personally, maybe … but most of his work is contrived, derivative or downright stolen

All these guys you named are great joke writers. (KH to a lesser degree).
I will say this though as a connoisseur of the artform, standup comedy loses about 40% its punch when it’s not experienced live and too much standup is being experienced on streaming.
Also, 90% of “specials” should not be specials. Specials used to be special back in the day. Only the cream of the cream got to make a special and they only dropped a special after a few years of accumulating material.

The lanes have been dried up already. Race/gender/relationship jokes.
You also got shows like Family Guy, American Dad, etc. who went heavy on this type of comedy. We’ve seen/heard it all at this point.
I think the next great comedian will start attacking work grind. A lot of that is relatable. I’m not saying make skits, but be from a relatable job bullshyt stance.

NONE of these social media “comedians” are funny. Would you pay to see any of them do stand up? You leaving your house and driving to the comedy club to see Druski or Wayne?
Tra Rags makes funny skits but he isn’t a comedian. That’s like calling Key and Peele comedians.

I also do think streamers and content creators ate the lane up as well.
People not really into the whole big budget, big special thing anymore either with a comedian cracking jokes. That’s kind of old school now.
Companies will do these big specials, spend big money on production all to get outviewed by some youngster with an Android Phone.
