It's starting to become commercialised over here in the UK. They now sell moi moi (Nigerian bean cake) in a tin :scust:

They also sell jollof rice seasoning in a box at Asdas, which is wrong on so many levels. Be careful what you wish for...

I guess this is s problem in the US as I have no problem getting west African food in the UK

Additionally Africa is a continent with tonnes of countries. So it's a bit of a ambiguous comment.

Their aren't enough immigrants from one particular country to warrant a shift in american culture to concentrate on one particular food. Greeks, Italians, Mexicans came in swarms, millions. Their just aren't that many africans from one single country. Island food is the closest because there's a high population of them.
