It's not truth. Lizzo doesn't need some random people telling her obvious shyt. She isn't dumb. Life for her can't be easy. The world isn't designed for people her size. Just sitting in the wrong chair can cause an event.

None of this was about helping her or anyone else it's all about passing judgment on other people and their problems.

We all have our problems in life. Problem is her issues physically manifest on her body and we can all see it. Normally people can hide their demons when out and about. She can't.

I listened to that whole clip and it was a bunch of bullshyt. First off it's none of her concern who celebrates Lizzo. People make their own decisions and live their own lives and consequences come with decisions.
She was asked about her thoughts on Lizzo being celebrated for her body you dumb fukk.

The comment was Lizzo, Ashley Graham, and others and a type of body being celebrated. Notice Michaels said nothing about Ashley Graham who was also mentioned and instead went straight into Lizzo. She clearly feels some type of way about her in particular because that's the first thing she latched onto.

"When you say bodies being celebrated that we don't normally get celebrated ultimately to the majority of adults there's a cost to those types of bodies. Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, early death. Are you celebrating those things as well when you celebrate the body because the two go hand in hand? It sounds like you're glossing over all that stuff to be positive about a something that really isn't positive at all.

That's how you criticize what that interviewer said without body shamming and attacking Lizzo.

Lizzo wasn’t attacked and you lying claiming that she was, doesn’t make it so. You’re not even critiquing the validity of her comments you’re just whining about how she worded her thoughts.

Let’s deal with the real issue at hand. Lizzo should be not celebrated for being a fat ass. White people are only doing so to perpetuate negative stereotypes about black women that makes them feel good.

When you make a criticism by singling out and use a person specifically for it that's an attack. There's a huge difference between saying obesity in general shouldn't be celebrated and Lizzo's body shouldn't be celebrated.

Like I said that interviewer made a statement (arguably an irresponsible one) and Michaels latched on to Lizzo in particular and just dug in. I'm not talking about how she worded her thoughts I'm talking about the fact that she attacked Lizzo specifically trying to make an example out of her to criticize obesity. That's body shaming and it's an attack.

Being morbidly obese isn't healthy and shouldn't be celebrated. It's also not attractive to many people. They will have to deal with those truths as the consequences of their lifestyle. That said, if that is how someone chooses to live their lives so be it. I don't feel they should be the subject of ridicule. I don't see it as brave nor worthy of admiration either, however.

The same people on Twitter defending Lizzo will watch an episode of My 600 Pound Life and :picard: and :hhh: at those human land masses not realizing Lizzo isn't far off. Is that fat shaming? What if they are happy being 600 pounds?

People live vicariously through these obese celebrities and that's a dangerous thing; emotionally and physically. That's why there is such a backlash among Twisted Mind Twitter when they lose weight. Now they need a new host to project their delusions.

I never blame the child; always blame the parents. Those who raised Lizzo and the adults around her should be ashamed of themselves. The fact they allowed their daughter to turn out like this is a huge indictment of failure on them.

Beyond the aesthetic pleasure, Lizzo looks physically sick. You don’t always have to be obese to look physically sick. Looking at Lizzo, you can be assured she has fatty liver disease, early to medium stage of heart disease, PCOS and irritated bowl syndrome or some gut issue. Poor child, the system, parents, family and society has failed her, more so than she has failed herself

People like Graham and Lizzo put themselves in that corner when they make their body and integral part of their image, any alterations to it will bring people out of the woodwork. Monique is another one that has been brought up frequently because she had all those comedy bits about skinny bytches and that movie phat girls and then proceeded to lose weight. Many body activist types juelz it saying it's about acceptance at any size when it really is about a particular type of body

These people are addicts. When you crash into the wall of addiction and it puts you on your ass what else are you to do? No fat person is happy at that size. It's a coping mechanism to preach fat acceptance. This is a hard lifelong battle with addiction. Furthermore it's not just the addiction it's the psychology of what drove them to that addiction. 2 for 1 problem. You have to beat both the mental health issue that drove you to the addiction then the actual addiction itself.

Some people in the face of this give up and try to gain some level of an acceptable life after losing that battle.

Does eating meat increase my cancer risk? I Cancer Council NSW
Red meat and all processed meat are carcinogens. Where's the concern about people eating shyt like bacon? Everyone here lecturing Lizzo about how she eats is a vegan that doesn't eat any of those carcinogens right?

Let her live.

You projecting :jbhmm:

Nobody’s treating her any different than any other performer who’s body is their schtick.

She won’t be the first or last. Everybody had jokes for Luther. If Luther has Twitter he would’ve caught hell back then and logged off the net.

Truthfully. I can’t see reading my own twitter as a celeb. I’m sure if the pope has a account the comments are toxic AF. Take your cape off. The battle’s unwinable
