Damn, so other people see it too?
I mean its not only women though, its the culture; everything is distorted and turned upside down. Its usually said that every generation thinks the next is the end of it all, but why is that? There must be some fundamental difference between each for that even to be the general consesnsus. I remember watching this video that was trying to expalin the decaying nature of morality. Lets go back to the 60's and take a look at Elvis. For many in america, they saw him as indecent, risque, and had the potential to corrupt the youth. Fast forward to present day and he would be deemed as a pristine and godly saint when compared to the artist of today. Thats a what? 40 year difference? Thats not even the lifetime of the average individual so the changes are real. I mean I was browing tumblr the other day and I came across a surprising fact that the Flinstones were the first married couple that were allowed to be shown in the bed together at the same time,it was forbidden before then. Then tell me how when Im watching a 20/20 interview between Barbara Walters and Kim Kardashian and they got the audacity to preview her gawddamn sextape during the interview, with blurred censoring yeah, but it was plainly obvious what was going on. I caught it on Youtube cuz I dont even watch TV anymore so I been out the loop for a minute so them letting that slide came off as a surprise. I mean in compariosn to the then and now, thats a real drastic change in a way we conduct ourselves and what we see as appropriate. Im not any socioologist so I just go off from what I observe. There isnt any definied sense of good or bad/right or wrong anymore; there all just "constructs of society" afterall, along with gender roles and morality
