I can still stomach cow’s milk :yeshrug: and almond milk and coconut milk are all out because of food sensitivity, and soy is not good for you.

I’m good on that 2%

How do they make that shieet & what's are its ingredients
People acting like theres some sort of nutritional benefit to drinking these non dairy milks and posting shyt like silk almond milk or sweetened whatever milks. There’s zero nutritional value in these. If you’re going to drink almond milk Make your own. Silk and almond breeze is just water sugar and emulsifiers. Use like 2% almonds or some shyt. Paying 3 bucks a gallon for thickened water with sugar and oils :heh: Make your own with just a few ingredients and up the nutrition tenfold

If you’re not going to drink regular milk, which has nutritional benefits, why bother with a milk alternative that has no benefits? shyts just empty calories full of seed oils sugar and thickeners (assuming the milk alternative doesn’t also have indigestible chemicals added like some of them do)

Yea, there's not much nutritional benefit to almond milk:

It tastes like much of nothing too. I only use it for protein shakes instead of just water.

What's this "make your own" stuff you're on. If it's little more than a blender and some almonds, I'd be interested. :jbhmm:

It’s water and almonds blended up and strained. You can add dates/vanilla or whatever to flavor it up a bit. These supermarket brands are like 2% actual almonds. You know what’s in it, can control what’s in it, and it actually has some benefit

Good looking out breh.

Making my own is cheaper (it's just almonds and water), easier (I just soak the almonds overnight and blend...since I'm using it with my protein shakes, I don't even bother straining, I just eat the remaining grains as well. Easier than having to go to the store multiple times a week to get almond milk), and like you say I know what's in it (judging by the protein levels in a serving of almond milk vs a serving of raw almonds, I'm certain I'm using way more almonds per 8 oz).

May try adding some vanilla extract for taste, but maybe not. I don't really need it. :ehh:

I got one bottle of this. And my store had no other lactose free 2% :stopitslime: no lactaid, no store brand, nothing.

And I already bought some unsweetened almond milk so I bought a second bottle of fairlife whole milk and as a person who can remember drinking whole milk before I became lactose intolerant, this milk is the best milk I've ever had.

Yup. I forgot what made me try it, I think it was the protein content. Ever since then, even if they're expensive I buy em. I go through about 2 a week.
