I'm focused on school and work at this time. Saving up for a house, so I should be finished with school in the next 4 months and some change. Should have enough bread to buy my house. I've been on a few dates but I wasn't feeling the chemistry with my former dates. They weren't wifey material.

Had a girl for three years was damn near married right out of high school. She use to stay over every night saw each other almost everyday unless we went on trips with our fam. I had to focus on school and work while also seeing her everyday. She wasn't going to school and my parents weren't really cool with that cause she only had a part time job too.After three years I wasn't really with the whole being tied down thing and she was ready to bring our relationship to the next level. Pretty much had to give up going out seeing my friends maybe once a month all before the age of 21. Realized I wasn't ready for it and I was too p*ssy to tell her so I let it ride and pretty much did what I wanted. We both talked about what we wanted and realized we weren't on the same page. Been single for two years now and I honestly regret having a gf for those three years because I missed out on a lot. I loved my ex but in reality no way in hell was I ready to be tied down at seventeen for the rest of my life.

This isn't true. Also I don't view relationships as a means to get away from loneliness. The purpose of a relationship is to eventually marry. So yes, I'm single because I'm supposed to be. When I'm not single, it's because I'm not supposed to be. Simple. Sitting there and dwelling on why you don't have a partner does nothing. Make your life enjoyable and just live it.
