Doubt it. In the information age, it'd be very difficult to keep something like that under wraps without a least someone within either camp coming forward to confirm this, especially for this long.
That's sort of like saying that Trump hired Bernie to troll Hillary. Bernie is WAY out there with his ideas and it's obviously attractive enough to some voters not to fuk with Hillary.
