I've been asking myself lately, in the world we live in today, if you were a below average woman in the looks department. would you expect to have any self esteem?
:jbhmm:

We're so superficial these days, If I was a woman without good looks, I would probably feel worthless (no offense, just saying feel). Obviously not true.:whoa:

But the baddest chicks I've pulled had the lowest self esteem. The women who were average tended to be more happy with themselves, their lives & circle.

Why?:lupe:

Like someone said on that #WasteHisTime2016 Thread, just as there are men who seek nonstop validation from their boys, there are many women attractive or not who have the self-esteem of a peanut:patrice:

Original title: why aren't good looks correlated with self esteem?

Maybe these women had experiences that caused them to have lower self esteem? Trauma, rape, molestation from family members who found them "so pretty"?

Also upbringing. There are parents who say the cruelest things to their children and others who lift them up. Then you have members of the opposite sex who feel the need to 'drop them down a notch' as a way to control them.

They are many reasons and experiences that can contribute to a person'a level of self esteem. Many of these start in childhood and carry over into adulthood.
