Jennings has the upside to be a very good/great player, he needs a Doc Rivers or Lionel Hollins type to coach him up.

Monta Ellis is one of the most overrated players in the league.

Not sure why everyone on here thinks Monta is a bun or needs to be on the bench. You can't really name another 5 two guards better than him in the league. After Kobe and Wade who at the 2 spot is really better?

Not many SG's who will give you 20-25 ppg a night, 5-6 assists per game with 2 steals a game as well while shooting between 43-50% from the field

James Harden, Klay Thompson, Jamal Crawford. I may go as far as even JR Smith.

Monta is better than everyone on this list outside of James; he'd probably flourish playing that sixth man role again though. Honestly, the best position Monta was ever in was coming off of the bench for Baron and J. Rich under Don Nelson in GS, but he was basically just playing too well to stay on the bench.

Monta Ellis should've been an all star a few years ago. He's still better than
Klay, Crayford and JR. He's a good 2nd option.

I've never been a fan of Jennings and I can see why he isn't getting offers. But with Ellis I just don't understand it. He's touted as a low efficiency player but he's at almost 46 percent for his career. And he's a decent passer too. As a second or third option he would be a very good pickup for a team.

Too many nice young PGs in the league and their play styles are the opposite of the direction the league is headed.

both dudes are top 10 at their position

they are FAR from bench players brehs

Both are starters but Jennings aint top 10 as far as pg's are concerned. Not with Parker Kyrie Wall CP3 Deron Rondo Curry Jrue Rose Ty and Russy in the league.

I would have expected a lot of bad teams to throw money at those guys by now.

I've always rooted for Brandon Jennings even though he has a habit of killing my team when we play the bucks. I root for him because I want more athletes to say "fukk the NCAA" and go play their one and done year overseas and get paid. As opposed to playing for free for a college team. I always hoped this would be the trend but it doesnt seem to be catching on.

As for Montae...There is a bit of a stigma about him. I think he has a bad rep among coaches. Personally I've never cared for the smaller SGs (Dumars, vernn maxwell types) or shoot first PGs (Iverson, Rose) but i gotta admit the kid is nice...when he's on.

bc they low % chuckers who are small.

there are a lot of great PGs around right now and many of them are on a higher level than Jennings, but he is right there with guys like Jrue and he can give those other guys a lot of problems when he's focused.

I still remember how Jennings had a 50 point game his rookie season. My nba players never score that much in their entire career. Matter fact, had Durant ever scored that much?

Anyways, the potential is there for Jennings. I think he should go to the Lakers:manny:

:obama: Nash for Jennings. Make it happen Mitch. :lawd:

And that's why he aint getting any major moments. Cause he doesn't seem to be focused enough.
