Majority of Ross hate comes from crackaz...no real niggga hates ross(unless they've done a bid and have encountered some fcked up COs that gave em a justified general hate towards all of em)..

Ross drops classic music and perpetuates the presence of the Nation in his life in his rhymes.....

Crackaz love to bring up that CO sht cuz these crackaz just cant fck with that black god body sht...

These crackaz hated the fact Ross gave TMZ that work...

Ross speaks for none of these crackaz which is why they're forced to run to hipster ass cracka appealing artists like Drake and Kdot that they can relate to in some manner because they try to appeal to them

Ross doesnt...Ross may rhyme ducktales but he chooses to focus on black struggle and black struggle only

Which is why he'll never go plat...these crackaz aint gon buy his sht..no matter how hot is music is in the hood...these hipster ass crackaz are the main consumers..and if u aint appealing to them u aint selling sht..

So i could give a fck bout how much play he getting..

Devil is a Lie is :ahh:

And mastermind bout to be a classic :lawd:

Seems like that song came and went….and what happened to Rick Ross' budget remember when he would shoot videos for everything?

seems like this is just another slick "hate Ross" thread. devil is a lie is one of the most remixed songs of the new year. it gets mad play on the radio. gets mad burn in the streets.

I haven't heard it on the radio at all, actually don't even think it's been serviced yet...and if it has, was likely just added the beginning of this week when they announced Mastermind's new release date as March 4th...it'll prolly end up being at least a moderate hit on urban radio, but I doubt it crosses over...but you never know, I wouldn't have bet on that Rocko/Ross track being a top 20 record in a 100 years...Ross' inability to make transcendent singles is one of the biggest reasons why he never made that next jump IMO

what next jump...sells wise or music wise?
because gfid was full of the smooth songs people say they love ross for and say he should make and was solid album, but this all my opinion

sales wise.....idk

Yeah I mean sales and just star status and all that...he's plateaued at that upper mid card tier for the last couple of releases, where for a second there (the time between the release of Teflon Don and GFID) he seemed poised to make a run in the main event...it just never happened...music wise, he's been pretty consistent...he's just less trendy to be a fan of then he was a couple years back

nikkas talking about radio play doesnt count and people listen to music other ways, well the song doesnt even have a million views on youtube:stopitslime:

This is supposed to be the smash hit street banger single featuring the GOAT rapper thats gonna give him all this buzz and it hasnt even got a million views in a month:stopitslime:
ASAP Rocky's weed carrier dropped a track that same month thats almost at 2 million(dope track tho):stopitslime:

Seems normal. Who else has managed to stay truly relevant in the mainstream for more than 3 albums without some sort of cross-over explosion? The album will drop, some will love it, some will think its aite or even bad...

Jay-Z because of all the power moves and affiliations
Eminem not only because of skin, 8 Mile was also huge and putting on 50 too.... but he had to go away and come back
Snoop because he's a natural superstar, did films, comedy and is an ambassador for his coast
Kanye is genuinely interesting musically and extremely vocal but not selling like he used to....
Drake is doing good but he could hit a similar plateau if people start to get tired of him

Everyone else.....Nelly, TI, 50, Luda, Jeezy had maybe 3 BIG albums and then struggle to get a release because the radio grows tired of them, over-exposure, embellishment of a backstory, PR failures etc etc

The POP RAPPER career path doesnt offer strong job security brehs :ld:
