Why arent the nba finals as big as the super bowl?

I have my opinions on why, but I wanted to know what yall nikkas thought about the nba finals getting nowhere NEAR the coverage and press the super bowl does

the super bowl is more of an event its only one day and on a weekend

the commercials. the party's. the hoopla all surrounding it

It depends on the matchups. Plus its a 7 game series and the only game where people might be interested is the series clinching game (game 6 or 7). If the NBA was like the NCAA Tourney there would be hoopla.The Super Bowl will never have low ratings no matter if its Cardinals vs Bengals or something.In the NBA Bigger the name or bigger the team the higher the ratings.If it isnt Lebron,Kobe it wont have record breaking ratings.True fans dont give a damn about the ratings

Because it all comes down to 1 game, while the finals stretch 7. Super Bowl is more critical.

It's much easier to get hyped about a winner take all game then it is to get hyped about a series. Plus it's on a Sunday and most people have the day off.

It's also has something for everyone...sports for the dudes, and commercials for the women!

Commercials, half time shows, the national anthem...will be a talking point every year. Game doesnt matter
