Flex Grossman
Funky
On court fit wise, it’s probably his best option. He’d play with 4 shooters that are already super efficient offensively. That starting lineup is one of the best +\- lineups in the league, the reason they’re only fighting for playoffs and not solidly in with home court advantage is because the bench is trash and millsap missed half the year.
All that said, bron probably doesn’t want to come here. But the idea that no one wants to play here is overblown. I remember all those knicks fans though gallo and chandler were just gonna leave here and go back to New York after their contracts were up because they cared about the NY market so much. Both re-signed a year before they were set to be unrestricted FAs. Melo signed a longer term extension than bron and wade did because he liked it here before Lala’s premadonna ass got her hooks in him.

status. Don’t get me wrong, our first NBA championship banner would be on the way if LBJ or PG or Kawhi were to come here but it ain’t happening. Big-time free agents just don’t have Denver on their shortlist. Sure we just got Millsap but he’s past his prime, he’s not even a superstar, and we overpaid. We have no history wooing actual superstars to choose the Nuggets. Wade used us a few years ago to drive the price up on Chicago so that he could get that last bag. If someone is interested, they’re probably running on fumes or at the end of their career—Wade, AI, etc. before Millsap, the last big free agency acquisition was what—Kenyon fukking Martin. Also housing market is on fire but that doesn’t make Denver a bigger market, at least not in the eyes of the NBA. Be clear Denver is a football town—always has been and probably always will be.
