Maybe I need to watch Nash clips for a while and think of it. But Nash was focused on setting other guys up, Curry is focused first on getting his own shot. Nash was fluid like a soccer player in the way he moved around the court, Curry jitterbugs with a lot more jerkiness to his game. Curry moves a ton off-ball, I don't even remember what Nash was doing when he didn't have the ball.He doesnt remind you of a more athletic Nash?....like not at all![]()
I'm trying to think of someone in the league right now who reminds me of Nash. To be honest he doesn't have nearly the skill level that Nash did, but Jeremy Lin is something of a Nash clone I think in the way he uses penetration and dribbling to set other guys up.
That's actually true. I think court vision can be learned, but only if you have a high bball IQ in the first place and it takes some serious effort and attention to learn it over a long span of playing team basketball with a lot of purpose.Hes not great at anything that can be coppied. You can't learn court vision and that is the only thing that he is truly great at. YallY Stan's are truly upset![]()
Other than his GOAT court vision/bball IQ, the things that make LeBron great are his next-level athleticism and the way he's leveraged his athleticism and IQ to become good at almost everything (finishing, post, shooting, handles, man defense, help defense) to the point where his game is almost without weaknesses.
But there's nothing in there that you would exactly "copy", outside of the mentality of working towards your court vision and developing a complete all-around game. That's why I think the biggest LeBron clones are not necessarily guys who copy any particular LeBron skill, but just the movement towards players who can do everything well, be positionless and contribute in every facet of the game.
