Not a lot of black people in those states. They wouldn't try to legalize it in a state with over 5 percent black population. Prison industry would lose too much money without black people to lock up.

I'm better than you in every way possible and I smoke recreationally several times a week.

What do you have to say for yourself?

I'm interested to see if Barack stands down and let's it happen

It'll be up to the Feds whether they let it happen or not

If they don't, it will likely end up at the Supreme Court at some point...

Big step but just the beginning

California dropped the ball on this shyt. they could've been the first state, but they thought their medical system was good enough, and they were worried they would have to deal with the feds. then prop 19 failed, and here they are dealing with the feds anyway :snoop:

not only that but the medical industry voted against it so they can protect their profits, so you combine that with young people not voting and old people always voting... bad combo. I hope it works out in these states though, I wont get my hopes up until its actually passed.

dude, the alternative to legalizing marijuana is what we have RIGHT NOW and it is NOT working. america is WASTING so much money and imprisoning so many people.

i would rather have people high on pot and participating in society than sober and in jail.

as much as i want this to pass, lets not act like were wasting money on imprisonment. court fees yes but you have to get caught with a lot to go to prison, you dont go to jail for smoking weed

i guess repeat offenders, probation violations and that type of stuff could send you to jail
