this is very true and only the tip of the iceberg as far as discussing how black people hold each other back, as he stated. the issue here is that this has been going on for so long. how do we start to break the cycle and instill that in young folks?
you break the cycle by admitting that this isnt the REASON WHY. its a symptom of the illness.
the illness is racism placed on our backs. that caused us to stop supporting one another.
and racism isnt just "blacks over there and whites over here." it changed. to trying to steer people of color(especially black folks) in a direction where they wont be successful as a community. but some will strive to be successful as individuals.
Zoe talking that we are the world sillyness. while her white boyfriend is making sure he marry's a white chick. so he and her can keep the WHITE bloodline going.
but that all stems from the cism. making us hate ourselves, retarding us, etc.
Black people do own businesses in the black community, beauty supply stores and nail salons might be asian, gas stations and the liqours arab
but car washes, barbershops, beauty salons, funeral homes, and churches are black
we don't open up business that offer services the community actually need
A nikka would get some money and open a McDonalds in the hood, before a Panera Bread,
all that fast food in hood is fukking our the health of our communities
black people with money, don't fukk with the hood after they get it, even though their arab neighbors can afford to live out in the suburbs with them, because they have business in the black community
another thing is, everybody wanna be a boss, everybody think the next Jay-Z and above working for another black man, but don't realize Jay-Z had to work under Jaz-0 in order to become who he is today
and lastly, the elders do not fukk with the young and teach them how they got their money, and wealth never is passed down through generations
I remember when I was 18 and one of my friend's cousin was a young family man at a time, he was doing good with group homes making like ten stakes a month off that shyt
so I'm like put me on to that shyt, he was like naww you too young, nah you don't nothing to do with this
when the truth is he didn't want to see me making money at a young age, because he wasn't making that type of money when he was 18
a few years later, I had closed some real estate deals and three 600,000 cribs under my belt, if we would have teamed up I could have turned them into group homes, and of course you know you get government checks depending on the size of the rooms and how many in the house. So you know this are some big ass cribs, new construction the whole 9. I end up foreclosing on them shyts, when I could've saved him by turinng them into group homes I just needed the patients.
The reality is, you gotta be out for self out here, because the minds of black people in America are fukked by generations of mental conditioning, and its going to take generations to reverse.
Yeah I don't even try to help other black people because of their mentality. I only worry about my wife and kids.
smart dumb nikkasYeah I don't even try to help other black people because of their mentality. I only worry about my wife and kids.
He could have passed that knowledge too you, you could have passed it on. "My people PERISH for a lack of knowledge". That's one of the keys to getting brothers OFF the streets, is a financial structure AND alternative. The only black businesses I support, is my mans barbershop. I don't eat soul food like that, and those are 2 of 3 black businesses in the hood, besides a funeral home. They get more biz than anyone. One of the reasons I think black folks don't venture outside of the norm is because they are afraid it won't flourish. If you open a liquor store or shoe store, it will flourish faster than a book store. A lot of black businesses give TRASH service honestly, and a lot of our people have been trained to think (I'm not giving them niccas my money). It would take over 100 years to change the thinking of our people.Black people do own businesses in the black community, beauty supply stores and nail salons might be asian, gas stations and the liqours arab

single mother generation.
Blacks will stay at the bottom as long as majority are being raised by a single income person.
Non of this "support black business" mean anything if kids are being raised on a single income.
Slogan is pointless, if it isn't enacted. If black businesses flourish with black money, then that can have a domino effect and produce jobs. The more jobs available, the less brothers and sisters on the streets. But it still involves the thinking of our people. Stay on the streets and HUSTLE all day and make 5x as much as I would working on some job??? That's the mentality that has to be broken. The thing is, a lot of brothers and sisters are looking for a way out, but the opportunity hasn't presented itself.
