as far as rappers, there haven't been any asian rakims or anything but theres been some talent:
cool calm pete was an underrated nyc rapper, dumbfoundead, the mountain bros were a chinese group from philly- chops went on to produce stuff for bun b, young jeezy, etc
8 off agallah is a half breed
lets be real though, outside of blacks, only a few puerto ricans, dominicans, and a couple of whites have been good rappers
no one really wants to hear asians, arabs, indians, mexicans, and h0nkies on the mic

As mentioned earlier in the thread, Cool Calm Pete and Dumbfoundead are really nice. Plus Ruby Ibarra is very talented. There have been threads on the coli about her including one saying, "This chick is hip hop." If you guys use Pandora, many of the good instrumentals you listen to come from Asia (with a lot coming out of Europe too).
