Why can't Braun have comedic elements to his character?

Him being able to have comedic elements to his character will add depth to his character and prevent him from becoming stale.

He ain't gonna become a goofy character like kali or big show. Don't worry about it.

Ban bet?

Little comedic shyt here and there doesn't hurt. But I hope they don't turn him to a big ass joke like they did Big Show.

stop setting the benchmark at the rock and stone cold...you're setting yourself up for disappointment. they had the luxury of not being pg and having way more freedom to do things with a way better creative team

The latter is so much more important than the former and is really the difference between now and then. From a fukkery and violence standpoint, Strowman flipping ambulances and trucks, pulling down scaffolding, and getting crushed by a trash compactor is on par with the fukkery of Austin driving zambonis, pouring cement in convertibles, and Rock getting ran through with an 18 wheeler.

Braun has had comedic elements this entire time. If you don't think a literally real life cartoon character using grappling hooks and throwing semis before roaring his name isn't over the top silly, idk what to tell you.

Undertaker never needed comedy skits to get over. With braun i dont mind too much. I like the Alexa bliss angle. I even liked yesterday's segment with Elias. Now the elf segment was just stupid. Besides with social media and Braun's youtube channel, you have to let him show his personality somewhat.

Braun since he went solo was never a mythical type character though. He’s just a giant dude with a goofy beard and hairdo that’s really scary and breaks shyt. Undertaker always had a supernatural element to him that left no room for humor, and little room to talk much at all. It’s best not to compare characters to taker since that’s really a one of a kind gimmick that only one person could really make work.

Brother, Taker's gimmick was at the height of the most cartoony era of all time. Try debuting an undead Wild West mortician gimmick outside of 1990-1995 and see the reaction.

Last night was brilliant, but I feel the threadstarter is under-estimating the fact this company is generally and consistently inept. That they won't know when to stop.
As far as Braun, this moment was hof goat good but in that.
The WWE typically will use it as a component to bury said talent.
Especially when said talent actually is so charismatic it has to be contained like big show. Yet in that WWE does not know how to handle with care. Nor does it has any awareness or wherewithal about the character after they have buried said talent for whatever reason. in example potentially eclipsing the son-in-law and Steph as on screen performers. Which this company will use that talent's charisma to that talent and even the promotion's detriment. Either on purpose or blindly unaware as well.

Did you all forget that he was a rosebud?

He was relaunched, and it is complete insider iwc knowledge of whom/who was a rosebud. As that knowledge in general has no bearing.
On if said talent will eventually be a draw if relaunched.
