If it ain't the constant screaming-monotone-no flow shyt he does, it's the accents. C'mon man, can't you find a happy medium?

its simple he tried that with relapsed the old formula of having a goofy song making fun of the celebritys of the day was done

it didn't sell so he went to interscope and they built him a new formula

ii'm thinking he also wanted to do shyt he could let his teen daughter sing along with

Dude was never really good. You only have the illusion that he was actually good at one point.

Why can't he sound like this all the time?

Agreed. Em should head down the Fast Lane road with his next album. He voice on that was perfect. But did neegs even listen to Recovery? His voice was fine on a good amount of the songs. Going Through Changes, Spacebound, So Bad, On Fire, Seduction, Talkin To Myself, Not Afraid (outside of the hook.) Even on Relapse, dude wasnt screaming that much. Underground, My Mom, Deja Vu, Beautiful, Crack A Bottle.. etc etc. "SCREMINEM" is blown wayyyyy out of proportion.

His flow on that Slaughterhouse shyt "Our House" and the 50 Cent collab "Psycho" were also good. But he always regresses into either screaming or coming up with stupid accents for his hyped up shyt. I saw him perform 3AM live in a normal voice and that shyt sounded so much better than the official version on Relapse.

Yeah he's always good for a few joints, but he's a far cry from the cat who made "MMLP". I think it's not so much just the yelling, but his delivery and flow often sounds stilted and force, like on "My Life". Like duke above said, when he spits the same tracks live they sound much better so I don't know why he can't capture that on record.

"Going Through Changes" and "Deja Vu" are two of my favourite Em track. I actually fukked with Relapse as well, it was a concept album and I understood it, plus Dre's production was flames.
