I don't believe anyone is born dysfunctional we are all results of our environment and upbringing as well as our personal choices and beliefs. Maybe my no excuses stance is not as strong as to leave no wiggle room but I still firmly believe that we can determine who we want to be.

Also if these kids do know what they are getting into and still choose it it must mean they feel there is no better alternative... and if that's the case then are better of dead rather than living in an endless cycle of pain.

I've suggested this here before, but that comes with white supremacists classifying them as domestic terrorists. this is what's going to eventually happen in my opinion.

I get your point and what you're saying but you gotta understand that the average gang banger has never even heard the term "systematic oppression" before.
