I'm on now as well.
Since you're posting on the Coli I assume you've Internet.
Try signing out of your account and see if all the online stuff (Adverts, Deal of the week etc..) pop up THEN sign back in.

I've had a spot of bother logging into xbl the path few months and had to do that to rectify the situation.
