What I'm saying is Nintendo exist to cater to Japan first and if the stuff they make for the Japanese catches on in other countries they'll sell there to but the game design isn't made with a western appeal in mind. Nintendo doesn't have any relevant major black characters in their franchises. The population they target isn't black so why would they even bother? Look at Western developed games and you can actually find black protagonists.So fukking what? Black people buy Nintendo games.

Nick Fury was redone as a black character. The only way Link could be black is if Nintendo decided to make it that way and there's next to no chance of that happening.
Nintendo games/consoles sell a hell of a lot more in America than anywhere else. And the reason for conversations such as this one is to force a change. Just like any other company paying/potential customers should challenge the company to cater to their needs. We can't even get our requests in order cause we got dudes like you that want to attack the wrong side.
The fact that they don't have any major black characters should be something they are called out for. People such as yourself shouldn't be attacking your own people just to defend this company.
I'm not attacking anyone I'm speaking logically and rationally. I'd never expect Nintendo to make black characters hell when Japanese make black characters it's embarrassing crap like Barret Wallace and even the cool ones like Sash still gotta either play the back or dance like fools. These designers aren't black and are so far removed from it they don't know how to portray it anyway.

what did you expect? blacks are some of the most hated and looked down upon on earth. its been that way for a long time but its changing. ignorance and racism extends across the world but blacks probably do get it the worst.

An excuse is an attempt to justify something.
A reason is why something is the way it is.
Japanese don't really cater to blacks in their media. All that old "back to Africa" shyt is dumb. What i'm saying is instead of asking why doesn't someone else do something to cater to my demographic go out there and make it happen yourself. create something that caters to your demographic. Design that style game with a black lead and get it made. that way in the future black kids can see a black game lead that's a respectable person designed by someone that knows the black experience first hand instead of looking to some Asians or Whites to create a black game lead when they don't know first hand the black experience and make goofy acting stereotypical characters anyway.
