This has nothing to due with the white-supported 'higher expectations' you think black people should adopt (or any other silly irrelevant deflection people like you are trying to push) and has everything to do with semantics.

but I just have a repulsion to hearing people call each other that word now.It's not even about " well you would be mad if a white person said it " logic. It just sounds demeaning. I saw some cell phone footage yesterday of the Michael brown shooting and while this man is lying dead in the street while his blood is running across the pavement, even out of shock you heard people say "man they just shot that nikka".
It's like something in my gut was like " this dude is dead in the street and you're calling him a nikka?"
