In older times you had songs on radio that no one around you liked and it was label pushing the song artist on you so calling it had some kind of reasoning behind it

Now, you see people have legit followings and fanbases its hard to call something trash when so many people are rocking with it. Thats why "its not for me" has gained so much traction lately
