Why can’t you use more than %30 of your credit card without hurting your score?

You can use 100% of your utilization as long as you pay it down to 30% (smaller percentages are better, but always more than 0) by the statement date (the date that credit card companies report your info to the credit bureaus, and give you your statement). Pay it down to 0 by the due date to avoid interest charges.

All true but I think he's implying that he wants to carry a balance month to month.

There is actually a big difference between 9% and 8.9999%, just keep these thresholds in mind.

Oh got u yeah I have maxed out cards before never do that though lol unless you getting alot of money it will take years to recover.

Just quoting so it shows up a 3rd time. I never see anyone describe this correctly.
