Why Charlotte is pushed and why Sasha was pushed down

Even though the crowd was horrible on Sunday, there was NOTHING after Charlotte won. No boo's, no smark cheers, just disappointment.

That's twice Charlotte has gone over Sasha in 60 days and got no reaction but The Miz gets a bigger reaction. That should be the sign that the fans don't want Charlotte.

As seen at WWE "Roadblock: End of the Line" on Sunday, Sasha Banks lost the Iron Man Match for the RAW Women's Title to Charlotte Flair after tapping out to tie at 2-2 with just 2 seconds left. This forced the match into sudden death overtime, where Charlotte regained the title by submission.

Regarding the finish where Sasha tapped with seconds left to send the match into overtime, this was a Vince McMahon idea but it sounds like he had a different reaction in mind. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that most within the company knew the finish was a bad idea but the key people in charge did not.

Vince reportedly had a "great" idea for the fall as there was a feeling that being in Pittsburgh, no one would care about the match or make any noise and it would drag. Vince thought everyone would be really excited for Sasha retaining her title, counting down the final 10 seconds of the match, but that excitement would be derailed when Sasha tapped out with just 2 seconds left. Vince thought it was going to be such a great moment, but most agree that it was not.

Sasha's "moment"(lol) wins are used to generate buzz and pacify "smarks" (even though she's also very popular with the casual fans) and Charlotte's wins are for what the WWE actually wants to get behind. I think Charlotte has come into her own as a good heel and is a good wrestler, but she really was placed in this position due to their love-fest with Ric Flair. HHH has always idolized him, created a group to mimic the Four Horsemen, and is fully behind Charlotte because of that.

As I and others have brought up before:

Vince refuses to get out of his own way. He doesn't want to give the fans what they want and how they want it.

Rather, he wants to give the fans what HE believe the fans want and in the manner that HE wants and if it fails it's "Well see the fans don't know anything, we gave them what they want and they're still not happy".

If he'd just get out of his own way, the WWE would be making money hand over fist but instead we have this silly situation where he's so fixated on this Face vs Heel nonsense, he can't see the long term benefit of having (for example) Sasha win at SummerSlam as opposed to the night after, or the stupidity of having a character who calls herself a "Legit Boss" be humbled on screen and more less ruined for months to come.

Cokeboy has an idea what he wants as his end game and the talent needs to fumble forward haphazardly performance-wise and storyline-wise in order to fit into his "grand vision" which is probably ass anyways.

This is the same as the Daniel Bryan situation...give the fans what they want and you will EAT

So they got Charlotte and Bayley in a 4 month feud where Bayley wins the TV matches and gets outsmarted on PPV....like I said, from this point forward, the Smackdown women's divison is where it's at and even though the fans are gonna reject Nikki getting a top spot at Mania over Becky, Alexa is probably gonnna shine.

And everything else until then is just them throwing shyt together and hoping it makes sense and that the fans pay for it, and that neither Charlotte or said Babyface gets injured before then.
