Yes, but countries are making that switch pretty steadily ... it ain't good for my own little self interest, cause it'll make the the cost of living more expensive, but things are happening right now .. in industrial countries..and developing ones ...

I think it's overstated how much it will affect USD if they stop using it in a lot of different trades between countries

well you're kinda missing the point, most of the numbers concerning chinese "dominance" come from its sheer size not from being more efficient or more productive or just being better in general

people are using the yuan simply because there are more chinese doing business all over the world its not because of confidence in the yuan itself or in the chinese economy

If by some miracle China can become a "developed," nation like North America, Western Europe, Australia, or Japan, it will be completely China's world. The U.S yields it's power from it's huge population (320 mill, while Britain has 60, France has 65 ect) and also being "developed." Imagine China being fully developed like the U.S but with 1.5 Billion. Might not happen but :ufdup: If it does.
