You could have a degree in history, philosophy, communications, etc. - If it's from an Ivy League School, you're almost guaranteed a successful career path

I been saying this. They only push STEM because they want pwople to drop out of school and leave them to the lower class.

Back in the 90s and before, I known people who graduated with African studies or Communications, and have a good pying job paying anywhere from 47k to 65k graduating from school. Back then when the cost of living was only 1/3 of what it is now.

Now they jacked everything up to the point where you cannot afford to make a single mistake in life. Even some educated people with good incomes, decided to skip having kids altogether because of the, cost of living and student loans crippling growth.

I'm 15 minutes in and the video doesn't really answer the question

The video does attempt to answer the question, it just doesn't expound enough on the reasons why, instead giving background on how things used to be.

There are several reasons why tuition has increased, from the availability and security of student loans, to reduced funding from state and federal governments, to building extravagant features to attract student loan dollars. These are all contributors on why college is so expensive.

Salaries to people who basically promote to a new class of people to pay 25k a year. Need to call out the value of some of these schools.
