If you're black making money and fighting to make America a better place for everyone then by all means ignore this thread.

But if your living in the ghetto seeing negative shyt everyday what do you have to lose?

This thread was inspired by a drive i took thru North Philly a few months back.

they would look real nice if someone were to renovate them :mjcry:

When i was in North Philly a few months back the homes there looked like one bad storm would turn the place to dust.

I have been all over America and never seen a Ghetto like that before

Most people are not going to do anything about it. I prepared a year earlier and went to Africa. If you are willing to put in the hard work, you can move here and have a good life. I see Lebanese everywhere, people who have no cultural connection to this place and thrive. I just feel like Black Americans like most people in the US continue to see Africa through the prism of the mainstream media and it scares them. If you are an American regardless of race you already have privilege over the local population. I am experiencing it right now as we speak. It's just people with lip service and excuses on this board on why they would NOT want to move and that's their problem. Find an international company that operates here, work, get an expat salary and then see how you can move on your own after the experience. Especially if you are educated, the move should be out of the US.

it's actually sad that people can be that ignorant especially in the age of the internet where there are multiple media outlets. It has been YEARS since I have actually sat in front of a TV set and watched the news. Al Jazeera is on point.

Does Al Gore own it?
