OP I came in here ready to dismantle your thread. That song was a great part of my adolescent formative years, but you have a point.

They probably should have named the song something else, although I think the song is more about selling a facade to a woman even though its not specifically said its more implied.

Sidenote, Ball and G are underrated. They dont get talked about like other down south groups of the time like Outkast, 3-6 Mafia, UGK, and other, but they were dropping some heat too. MJG is a criminally underrated lyricist and emcee.

I live in the deep South and I'd put Ball and G as my second or third favorite group ever, but most of the people I'm around talk about the others more.
