yeah in our shytty music business culture thats normal, imo thats some janky manager shyt. if you gotta talented group and yall got something to say who the fukk is a manager to split that up. all over a few percent of the overall money :rudy: respect to joey badass for keeping it real and his mom for controlling the situation and not signing that contract.
i dont know where it started, but i always use Michael Jackson & The Jackson 5 as an example of this. its almost like labels pass judgement at the gate...then play these little games to drive a group apart to manifest what they wanted all along

That's a sad story, I read the entire article.

I'll say this, some of you guys in here crying about a conspiracy need to just chill. I understand it's cool to troll certain shyt, but honestly after reading the article, and listening to some of this cats music, it's clear to me that he was mentally ill. You can bring up all the conspiracy theories you want, but if you've ever known someone who's going through some of the stuff that was described that dude was going through then you wouldn't need to reach like that.

There are a lot of things people can get caught up in in this world. This dude probably just got lost within himself and went looking for answers in the wrong places... And trust me, depending on the individual and the content they're seeking out to find life's answers can really fukk with a person's mind.

The messaging in music, the shyt you can dive into online, just the wealth of information out there that a person can look into is just overwhelming. He seemed to be a young kid questioning his upbringing in religion that just ended up seeking for answers else where. Pair that with questioning one's purpose, drugs and music... yeah it could end like that.

Exactly. It could be deeper but it most likely isnt. Why would it be? Crazy story and it makes me wish he had more music to enjoy.

i did a lil research on steez when it happened. i noticed him bigging up baphomet on his facebook feed along with a convoluted philosophy numerology mumbo jumbo. if he was on some hard shyt like powder, glass, or wet kinda hard to ignore the shaitan whisperin "commit that" :manny:

Seems like a clear case of skitzophrenia. If you ever spoke to a skitzo this will all sound very familiar, especially the grandiosity. Once dude started saying he's god, he was on a path that really didn't have too many good outcomes.
