at this point in both of their careers, they don't need new albums to tour. but yes, i do agree that jay is latching onto her to sell, felt he did that with JT and Bey the first time around.

bey doesn't, she has that rabid a fanbase, plus those on the fence who end up at her shows on some "i felt i should see her at least once"...which is exactly why jay teamed up with her. he definitely couldn't do stadiums by himself with no new music and coming off an album only his most hardcore (tidal subscribing ) fans listened to more than once

It’s a loan that he has to pay back via albums sales, touring, merchandise, etc


It’s basically a 360 deal. No way that jay could recoup that himself unless he did multiple stadium tours with Beyoncé or live nation got a piece of his roc nation/tidal deals which I’m sure they did/Do

444 tour made 48 mill last year. THis OTR will gross 100 mill

Jay could drop another album and recoup another 45-50 but why not just use Beyoncé
