He has looked good playing for the Browns. While his arm is weak he has great anticipation, strong accuracy and good pocket presence. What are the reasons McCoy failed as a franchise QB?

Arm is weak and he wasn't a high enough pick for teams to give him enough chances. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being a starter eventually.

he was never that good.

As someone who watched almost all of his games in college, he was a very good passer 10-15 yards(deep ball wasn't good), but most of his passing yards came via YAC. And alot of his passes came on the run...semi-bootlegs/waggles, which isn't happening much in the NFL (unless ur Russ Wilson)

Good enough to go 3-1 in his career against OU.

Just because a player is solid/good/elite in NCAA doesn't mean he won't be horrible in NFL.

He was never really that good to begin with (as an NFL QB/prospect) :manny:

My statement had nothing to do with his NFL career where it was always obvious he didn't have the arm strength to be a successful NFL QB

I try to generally maintain some type of neutrality on here towards Texas. But OK....

All I know is, OU never lost to Texas the 4 years I was there....and save for 2013 & Josh Heupel terrible gameplan, I've lost count of how many wins we've had over y'all.

Oh wait, no I haven't...4 outta the last 5.

Oh I can pull out selective numbers as well. But the only one that really matters is all time anyway 60-44-5
