That Sex Criminals ones isn't too bad. I wouldn't exactly know what it was about from the cover but I'm intrigued.
To your point though, I just loaded up my library today and it took a while to go past the covers. Preacher did them extremely well and was one of the reasons I got interested. I'm reading them now cause I've had them for months but never did. Tank Girl has quite a few good ones as well.

Decades ago artists realized that Superman simply running or flying was overdone. This has been forgotten or just plain disregarded.
