It's eerie how he looks related to Pac, and Pac was wearing an Orlando magic jersey when he got ambushed:mindblown:

I thought he was specifically wearing a Nick Anderson jersey too? Or am I wrong? If not, :damn: at that coincidence. Orlando on the front, Anderson on the back. :ohlawd:

On topic tho, I feel like DR had a lot of classic material that they could have released and made some serious cash. And not just with rap either. Danny Boy's album that never saw the light of day was amazing, had it of been released in 94,95, or 96 it would have probably gone triple plat. Same with Nate Dogg's album too (One of the biggest hiphop/r&b travesties is that Nate's album never got released til July '98.) Same with Sam Sneed's album, where Nas's real version of Street Dreams would have been released.

With those 3 albums alone they fukked off a gang of money on album sales, singles, tours etc.

No telling how many more great songs we never heard. Hell, had 220's album been released in late 95 early 96 this one prob would have gone at least gold.

Yep, that's the true OG version. Was supposed to be on Sneed's debut that never came out on Death Row cause of that East-West beef. :to:

EDIT: Just noticed we talking bout Death Row and my Daps is 1-8-7 and my posts is a 211!

Dr. Dre leaving

he inked a new deal with Interscope . . taking Suge Knight out of the picture (who wants to deal with the hood in Santa Monica?)

Then Tupac was talking to Columbia (that's under the Sony umbrella, not UMG - Interscope made Tupac) about bringing Makaveli Records to them. Tupac was killed

Do the math

With the combination of pac dying, suge going to jail and being blackballed along with being seen as the bullies in the east-west conflict..then you had reggie wright running the label..crazy it managed to last as long as it did post 96..

I'd say probably after Sneed got that ass beat for "cozying up w the East" (even though he was from Pittsburgh and supposedly beat bad enough to give him a brain tumor) and Dre left DR, he probably switched up the beat when working with Nas on IWW. Just speculation on my end though.

ok...Now with that said....Did Death Row ever have a recovery moment??? Nope.....Death Row's last breath was unreleased Tupac material....Dre had to re establish himself afterleaving The Row......and tho it took a few years he finally did. Death Row on the other hand never recovered from Dre's departure.........Lets not forget how weak Snoops 2nd album was without Dre's involvement. Do u remember that trash version of the Chronic 2000 Death Row released in 1999? Can u imagine the level Death Row would have reached had Chronic 2001 been released on Death Row?? That album was Hip Hop's introduction to the new millinium.
Dre wasn't doing shyt in his last few years in DR. DR would've been fine if Pac didin't die and Suge didn't get knocked. DR East was happening and it would been lead by Eric B,
