Why did God need Moses's wife Zipporah, to cut off their son's foreskin and throw it at Moses's feet so God wouldn't murder the son?

Exodus 4:18-31

18 And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.

19 And the Lord said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought thy life.

20 And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.

21 And the Lord said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:

23 And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.

24 And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the Lord met him, and sought to kill him.

:scust:25 Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.

26 So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.

27 And the Lord said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.

28 And Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.

29 And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel:

30 And Aaron spake all the words which the Lord had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.

31 And the people believed: and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

the context for Exodus is "A Pharaoh arose who did not know Joseph"

in Genesis, it says that Joseph became a "father" to Pharaoh when he was made governor over Egypt

so what it means is that the Pharaoh who does not know Joseph is in fact already dead (or a statue). And it also says that this "new" king put taskmasters on them that forced them into work in mortar and brick and it also says that unless they built houses for the midwives that delivered them that they would put the males to death

remember they wanted freedom from "captivity" but the context for this was for Moses to slay an Egyptian who was "smiting" a hebrew.

when a baby is born, does it build a house?

from the Egyptian POV the Retjenu were not the same kind of people as Egyptians and were considered "magic" peoples. Even before the scene you quoted it says that God would make those hebrews "rich" in gold and silver in the land of egypt. How can a rich people be burdened with mortar and brick unless by their own doing?

GOD was going to kill Moses because he wasn't following the orders GOD gave the Israelites to circumcize the boys to show they were set apart.

He wasn't taking on the role GOD had set for him.
this isnt true

remember the child of Zipporah is Gershom (a stranger) and Eliezer with Moses

how could Moses wife also be his mother? especially if the Exodus 2 narrative says that Jochebed is Moses mother

see above post, remember Moses "defended the girls form the shepherds, and watered the girls flock" and to the Egyptians animals were considered Gods

for more clarity consider this passage but if this loops

consider males in the animal world

why are there no "phalluses" similar to humans?

foreskin is something that literally grows out of your penis and envelops your head

the symbolism is there is a similar relationship in retrograde

so circumcision is acknowledgement of your animal nature and discarding it for a divine nature. For the record circumcision started with the Egyptians not the Canaanites

furthermore a woman's sexual organs are different, her link with the ground is her period blood, from your perspective there is nothing but mess

but the bible implies women are "mothers to all the living" meaning there is more to it than it appears and "Esau"s (who was red and hairy) genealogy includes "chiefs and dukes" which really doesnt make sense compared to all the other genealogies.

This biblical story proves circumcision didnt begin with the Edomites or Arabs.
