Malcolm shouldve kept his mouth shut? lol

He was who he was by not shutting his mouth.

He bad mouths JFK (a white person) and then the NOI gets scared and puts him on silence.

Thats sabotaging the Nation? Im confused on what the NOI was standing for then

Like I said in post #19, you don't know anything about the Nation of Islam

:hhh: He was told beforehand not to speak on it.

His fame grew his head so big, he thought he was the leader now, and chose to be "all in the videos" doing whatever he pleased.

I don't know what organization you know disregards defiance :francis:

Your kids probably call u by your first name
:camby:

Look, if ya'll coming in here to have some sort of input fine. Take that smart talk back to the Migo threads y'all argue in everyday.

I simply stated why we embracing a religious organization that orders hits on people. Black people at that.

I do not know why we embrace Farrakhan. I wont step away from my stance either.

He went against what Elijah taught him because after returning from Mecca, the Islam that he found in the East conflicted with what he was being taught.

Being willing to work with Europeans doesn't make you less of a threat. In fact, it possibly made him more dangerous given the fact that he was still vehemnently indicting America for its crimes against Blacks. He was still preaching that there couldn't be real unity until we started building our own.
how are you going to have unity when we don't have solidarity? there was no reason for Malcolm to discuss building alliances with whites when he has yet to build one with non muslims.

Before he was killed, he was building with non-Muslims and even stated that therw could be no union with whites until there was unity among ourselves. He even went as far as saying we needed our own identity and knowledge of self independent of whites before building with them.

keep in mind that his building efforts took a while, because he made a lot of nasty comments about our freedoms fighters in the front line. plus he had to define what role was he going to play other then being a heckler of the civil rights movement

He wasn't a heckler of the civil rights movement because he never really embraced the philosophy of civil rights because we as Black people didn't even have basic human rights. You can't really single Malcolm out, because he wasn't the only one "heckling" other leaders. There were "nasty comments" from both sides and a lot of the attacks from other leaders weren't just against Malcolm, but the NOI itself. Malcolm became someone who was more about building with other leaders to help find a solution.

Black politicians aren't to blame for us not having basic rights.

There weren't many that stood with Malcolm in the human rights movement. Malcolm was saying it was foolish to ask for civil rights from the same establishment that was denying us basic human rights. That is why he spoke against civil rights leaders because he felt that they weren't seeing the bigger picture. The most prominent civil rights leaders ended up agreeing.

have you actually study black political history? powerful black politicians in the south were passing laws in Mississippi which prevented poor whites from voting in certain parts of the country. if the white house was placed in the north, where there was a anti slave movement, we would have more rights. guess who voted for the white house to be in dc? the urban league lease the noi buildings so they can have a place to run their businesses. malcom was not 100 percent upfront about the noi relationship with the civil rights movement
