because he seemed gimmicky with his first song 'funk soul sensation' where he was rhyming with himself using two different voices.

if he had lead with 'brooklyn kids' it may have worked out for him (one of the best rap songs ever made).

his label shelving his project didn't help matters. to this day i'm waiting for it to see a proper release.

as for the Dangermouse album, i think he got locked up shortly after.

there are remixes. he only had the EP before the Ghetto Pop Life album.

there is also a companion EP to Ghetto Pop Life called 'the 22 inch ep'. Cee Lo is on it.

he even had an album with danger mouse.

Breh, that album came out before anyone gave a damn about Danger Mouse. It wasn't until Gnarls Barkley that people really started caring (yeah, he had press before then especially with The Grey Album, but people still weren't paying THAT close attention).

Plus, Ghetto Pop Life was kinda :noah:

That being said, I'm a huge fan of Scars And Pain. My friend even has a legit, label-released vinyl version of it with full artwork and everything. Some promo copies were sent out before the record was scrapped.

one of the worst record delays in rap history killed jemini's impact.

along with the hardest to find low print run distribution of any rap album in history.

pretty much the two worst death curses, put together in rap as a business.
