Dark Fantasy has perfect mixing, I've noticed that a lot of people on this site want every album to sund like a plastic billion dollar pop album.
He was working with dudes like Rza to give it that throwback wu-tang "real" hiphop feeling. Dirty riffs and drums, mixed with "beautiful" orchestras, reverb mixed with clean bars and on. Which is best noted on Dark Fantasy, All of the lights and Gorgeous.
The reason he did re-did Pablo was cause he co-owns the only place the music could be heard too, plus it being part of the marketing campaign.
Its noticeable, I thought it was part of the sound and imo it sounds dopethat first sentence is def not me, im a Wu stan. i grew up on filthy masters
its weird, almost changes from song to song. All of the Lights sounds great to me, Gorgeous sounds flat. same with Hell of a Life. the snares hit weird, the vocal levels seem to float. i love the music itself, its still my favorite Ye album, but ive always wondered why it sounds the way it does
Isn't it still technically unfinished?Kanye finished TLOP?!
shyt, could've told me
