I listened to MC Hammer a lot when I was a kid and I never noticed this, but by the time 2 Legit 2 Quit dropped he started rolling random letters like he was Latino or something :mjlol:

You notice it a lot on this song

Funny thing is, he's not even rolling the Rs. It's just random letters
"and sssssset 'em up good, and let's go!"

"pardon me and I'm begging your pardon, bbbbbbut I feel like starting something"

"a lllllllllittle bit of tttttttime, and we'll turn it out!" :russ:

He even does it on the gospel track

"bbbbbbut in my hearrrrt and in my soul and in my spirit, the love of Godddd, everyday, I try to be near it"
"He took me to the wwwwater I went down in your name, I repppented of all my sins, and I haven't been the same"

I'm wondering if he had the mush mouth while in the studio one day and accidentally rolled a letter he had no business rolling, but then one of his boys was like "that's dope! Keep doing that!"

It's funny because now that you point it out, it might be a bay area thing, I hear hear that lil twist sometimes in the raps and even in the convo with cats from the bay.
