i like amerikkka's nightmare, but his 1st album is still my favorite.."young nikka" is probably the grimiest sounding west coast song ever
Spice 1 - Young nikka (1991) Hayward,CA - YouTube
i remember i was bumping this one day and cousin just out the blue was like "i feel like shootin a nikka"![]()
spice released a bunch of great albums. same with above the law. ybb were really the only ones who never got the props they deserve. khayree shiits on 95% of the producers you see that get talked about daily. they've gotten more exposure since mac dre went all hyphy. but not even close to how they should be viewed. go check out young lay-black n dangerous and tell me its not one of the best rap albums you've ever heard.
is one of the best West Coast album ever
I know I'm 19 years too late, but I just discovered this CRACK
I'm a 90s Brooklyn kid that can't front like if my catalogue is full of West Coast Hip-Hop. I got Pac, Snoop, Dre, the other Death Row classic, Quik, Westside Connection, Game, and now Kendrick. But, as you can see, my West Coast Hip-Hop catalogue ain't that extensive. Oh, I can't forget ALC, and all his side projects.
My question is what other West Coast Hip-Hop albums are like AmeriKKKa's Nightmare. You know gangster rap shyt (where the rappers are actually rhyming words together) and that quintessential West Coast sound that this album had. The Pac and Meth collabo were a pleasant surprise and even E40 jibberish didn't kill the vibe.
