Better late than never because Spice 1's 90's catalog is one of the best catalogs in all of Hip Hop!


Now back in the early 90's, it was all about Compton's Most Wanted and MC Eiht for me. Aside from N.W.A. in the late 80's, Compton's Most Wanted and Eiht were my favorite Westcoast rappers.

Compton's Most Wanted have a very great catalog as well. Their first 3 albums are all classics IMO:

spice released a bunch of great albums. same with above the law. ybb were really the only ones who never got the props they deserve. khayree shiits on 95% of the producers you see that get talked about daily. they've gotten more exposure since mac dre went all hyphy. but not even close to how they should be viewed. go check out young lay-black n dangerous and tell me its not one of the best rap albums you've ever heard.
