His beat selection got weak after GRODT.

Yeah. He starting getting real jewish with it. He hit gold with I get Money though. He found it on Sound Cloud and paid Apex $250 for it. He ended up being a cool nikka and ended up giving apex publishing rights on the track. Which would have caked apex up but he is real cheap on the beat front. I hate that Shady sounding beats like Straight to the Bank etc too. I think that sound got played out

How did he murder NY hip hop? By replying to disses from other nikkas? How did history get twisted like this. Jada etc all dissed 50 first. was he not meant to reply just because Jada from NY too? Jada in my top 5 too, 50 ain't but we can't act like 50 was just gonna sit there and let all them pop shots at him and not do nothing.

Have we not proven time and time again that 50 only went at Jadakiss because he was down with Ja? I thought this myth that LOX were going at 50 died when 50 admitted as much.

Also there is a weird age thing in hip hop. Only Jay seems above it (Which is a credit/compliment to him) hip hop is one of the only types of music where people stop fukking with an artist coz it ain't 'cool' anymore. Meanwhile the Rolling Stones and Madonna are still doing huge tours in they genres. If you hit a certain age in hip hop usually people stop fukkin with you for whatever reason.

I agree with this, but not for the reason you stated. If you look at people that are still popular from other genres Madonna, U2, Metallica, etc. they aren't still making the same music they made in beginning of their careers. They change things up, so they're still relevant to a younger crowd.

Jay's a perfect example of this. He has his core fan base that will support him and he gives them enough to keep them loyal, but he's also changed his music enough over the years so that a 16 year old kid can hear one of his songs and like it. He's not stuck in 96 or 2001, he realizes his music has to evolve to stay relevant. Most rappers don't understand that until it's too late, and nobody cares about them anymore.

They went at him on a track with Ja. Correct? Styles admitted to going at them too,

"you might get rich, It's guaranteed you gonna die, you might get missed" After Get Rich or Die trying drops on a track with a known 50 enemy? But nah. Lox were being 'bullied' and 50 started it?

fifty started the shyt with jada and fat joe by opening his mouth commenting on everything walking...

he complained of Jada's relationship with Ja Rule just like Joe's during the NY joint...

he has since admitted that anybody standing next to his enemy was his enemy which are street rules...

he never had an actual beef with either of them which is how it got squashed eventually Jada faster than Joe obviously...

he killed NY hip hop by:

dissing anybody near Ja

putting the battery in Mobb Deep's back to diss Nas as well as poking at him himself

constantly throwing rocks at Jay and Diddy

baiting Cam into beef(which helped split Dipset with Jimmy's grimeyness)

besides those things there are plenty more but the biggest thing is he made NY extremely disrespectful, birthing rappers like Jim Jones, Maino and Troy Ave who wanna bully their way into the game...

blah blah blah...

His popularity was always overstated. That eminem cosign did him wonders and gave him a lot of white hiphop fans that wanted a cool gangsta rapper to like.

Jada and Joe dissed 50 on a track with Ja. No wonder he replied......

How did he bait Cam into the beef? Cam called him and used a KOCH exec to get on air with 50. Didn't he? (50 barking on that dude alan is still comedy)

Throwing rocks at Jay and Diddy? they still got on a track with him. What have either of them done for NYC unity? 50 was popping in the streets of NY and they both ignored him because Irv wanted him black balled. If they were for NY hip hop they would have helped him and not continued his status as a blackballed artist, correct?

How you blaming 50 for Jim Jones etc? He's Cams artist, his Capo. But 50 is responsible for Jim Jones?

Nas dissed 50 first too at a concert. I was even at "I don't fukk with that 50 cent bullshyt" and was in talks to sign with Murder Inc at the height of the beef.

You just hatin breh. 50 didn't kill NY Hip hop. Every artist you listed threw shade, usually first at 50 and none of them helped him when he was being black balled so why would he help them when he got on top?

hes a hater point blank
i mean dissing everybody sucks but...

but music wise 50 never grew as an artist
50 made magic stick part 2
rider part 2
pimp part 2
he said come and go on curtis was in da club part 2
Everytime he has an album coming out he always says "it feels like its starting over"

the way he would switch up when he was on white media then change again
the bridges he burnt there was so much wrong with 50
but hes special u cant deny it if any other artist they would never had lasted 3 months better yet 50's good 3 years

google the timeline of these events...

you don't seem to know much about when it happened just know that it did happen...

I listened to, watched and read every interview as it happened and my memory is on point homey...

He poked at Jada in a Flex interview where he commented on how Jada was cool with somebody DMX didn't mess with and questioned his loyalty...

at one point he said the Jada/Fat Joe/Ja Rule camps weren't as cool as they seem alluding to knowing something behind the scenes...

Ja knew what he was doing getting them on the track trying to solidify his thug image and they didn't care because they didn't have a relationship previous to that they just jumped on a hot song...

the cam call was in response to fifty again being on the radio claiming he could push back an album at koch if he wanted, which happened to be at a time cam was doing his thing there and i agree the call was funny...

Jay and Diddy didn't do much for NY artists but that wasn't my point, they are NY artists and he continued to send shots at them and others for almost no reason whatsoever...

he dissed diddy for using biggie to continue making money and threatened to release knowledge of diddy having knowledge of big's killer...

Jay never had beef and worked with fifty during that time even though he continued to throw shots and Jay even threw a shot at Ja when he was popping saying "the only dude's moving units was Em, Pimp Juice and Us...(Ja responded but we all know where his fans left him)...

Jimmy wasn't a goon like that until fifty came around, I remember interviews back then where Cam would son Jimmy and tell him what to do...

the one that makes me laugh is where they are doing a magazine interview and Jim is riding a skateboard and cam tells him to stop because gangstas don't ride skateboards...

He dissed Nas first because Irv took fifty off of that J-Lo record and replaced him with Nas and fifty got upset...

and lastly, I'd never hate on fifty i'm a fan and the dude created a bunch of hip hop memories as you can plainly see, fifty has a tendency to take everything personal and i do agree he had a right to do it because he was blackballed but you seem to be caping for him...
