People hate him because it's the cool thing to do. Trend following fakkits. I rock with Migos heavy and trap music heavy and young thug but you can't tell me 50 isn't putting out better music than them. When they're shyt hits it really hits but they got a massive amount of misses too. But with 50 people crucify him for every time he fukks up and completely skips his achievements. Imagine if 50 made that lifestyle track? :mjlol:

It's the trendy thing to hate on 50, one of the few legit nikkas in the game

Also today's generation is a lot softer. They can relate to drake and j cole but 50s music is like a foreign language to most of the new gen
I'm not trendy or part of this new soft generation...I'm probably older than most in this thread...I love gangster sh1t...Cube, Pac and Scarface are all in my top 5..

GRODT only had 4 songs that I liked and The Massacre had even fewer.. I never even listened to the rest of his albums more than once.. Never was a fan like that..

So for a guy you clearly don't like, why are you always in a thread that has no value too you?

the problem i think is that 50 never truly had fans that liked him and only jumped on him for mass appeal, if kanye was to stop making music and come back he would still have a really solid and big fan base

i still like 50, and fx with him more than i did when he blew up. he is probably the most free rapper alive. meaning he isnt afraid to speak his mind on any subject, be it ignorant or insightful, he is funny as well, and just having fun.

i dont think he was ever a great rapper. i liked his aesthetic. his voice, his cadence, his subversiveness and yet, lyrically he is very poor. like a very simple rapper.

so for personality nd impact, curtis gets a 10.

music he gets a 6. his best stuff like "50 shot ya" is just exemplary. but those moments were few and far in between.

thats a good point. even when he sold 8 million i always wondered who the hell the cacs were that bought that shyt. no way they were relating to that dude on any level. he was just the IT music act for a minute, and then it passed. like the spice girls in a way,

Does not bother me, it is obvious it bothers you. I mean you admit I don't like this guy and you find yourself in the middle of any topic concerning him. I think I know who it bothers.
Yes 50 Cent fans on this forum do bother me... With all the trolling, corny gifs, #SMS audio and topics that have absolutely nothing to do with music...

Even saying all that, I probably only post in about 10% of threads made referencing him and G-Unit...

yep, GRODT is the worst classic ever. i dont like a single song on that album. im surprised u like 4. only songs i think i can hang with are High All The TIme, musically its a great song. Many Men. what else? its just a dumbed down gangsta album. the cats u mentioned, cube, scarface, pac all had deeper shyt going on than just killing dudes.

He's a c*nt. He went from underdog to bully. People hate stuff like that. He didn't spread any love at all.

When G-Unit was popping he put them on an island and separated them from the rest of NY. Then when they weren't popping anymore they're jumping on other artist tracks and getting guest features.

This. It became more about beefing than the music. I gave him one more chance when he did that song with Eminem and Adam Levine, and then he opened the song saying Game and Young Buck can suck his dikk, and that was it for me.
